Summary

Our client is a leading ingredient solutions provider in the Plant-Based Food and Beverage Industry and is one of the world’s most successful international manufacturers of food & feed ingredients and plant-based solutions.
They are globally headquartered in Europe with a regional NA headquarters in the Midwest. Its their mission to disrupt the plant-based market with a wide variety of innovative and best-in-class plant-based products. They provide customized solutions for plant-based meat, sausage, fish, cheese, and dairy products. Due to expansion in North America, they are looking to hire an Marketing Communications Manager to manage our online and offline communication with clients and increase brand awareness.
The role and duties include preparing promotional material that takes our vision to the customer, use effective and timely messaging to attract new customers, develop strategies specific to different media, and networking for brand awareness.
Ultimately, you will act as our brand’s voice to impress our customers and attract new customers by developing creative messaging strategies to promote the overall company’s mission and vision.
This is a remote position with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans for promoting the Company’s brand and its products during social events where the most potential consumers are to be found.
• Network with customers and the most influential publications and trade show events in the industry to increase brand awareness.
• Develop creative messaging strategies to advertise Company’s vision and products on the top social media platforms.
• Designing and creating online marketing content, including brochures, and promotional emails.
• Tracking and recording the performance of marketing campaigns and presenting this information to the business development and members of a company's leadership team.
• Track ROI to measure the performance of each of the marketing strategies to work on them continually.
• Become part of social media groups to engage in the trending discussions within the plant-based industry.
• Reviewing and analyzing consumer data to analyze effective marketing strategies and successful ways to increase brand awareness.
• Collaborate with business development team and providing them with customer feedback on the company’s products.
• Networking with potential customers and industry professionals to grow brand awareness and promote the company's products.
• Plan interviews and press conferences.
• Produce marketing copy for our website.
• Gather customer feedback to inform sales and product teams.
• Liaise closely with Corporate Marketing and Product Management in Europe for consistent messaging.
• Manage outside agencies and consultants as needed.
• Support other brands under the overall corporate umbrella in the North American market as needed.

Requirements

• Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, or Public Relations or similar is required.
• Must have 5+ yrs of proven Marketing and Communications experience with a food, beverage, ingredients, flavors, nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical or similar CPG Manufacturer • Must have a familiarity with B2B and B2C advertising campaigns.
• Must have hands-on experience with web content management tools, like WordPress.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Prefer experience with Saleforce.com.
• Must have knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics.
• Must have experience working on social media marketing and an awareness of different social media platforms and the content that should go on each of them.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.
• The willingness to take challenges head-on and the courage to step up when others are reluctant.
• An eye for detail and the ability to come up with a unique and timely analysis of the feedback data received from the customers.
